The new Racoon glass coating has been specially developed for car windows and offers extremely consistent benefits all year round! It is recommended to seal not only the windscreen, but also the front side windows and mirrors. 

The coating compensates the smallest unevenness of the glass surfaces and forms an absolutely invisible, smooth ceramic protective layer with a long service life. This results in a stable hydrophobic lotus effect and the water can no longer adhere! Already at 50 km/h rain drops simply roll off through the airstream and the use of windscreen wipers is reduced to a minimum. Also the new soiling of the treated glass surfaces is clearly reduced and can be cleaned with less time and effort.

The application of the coating is quite simple! However, care must be taken to carefully clean the surfaces to ensure optimum chemical bonding! The stability and abrasion resistance of the coating depends on how well it chemically bonds! For a thorough preparation we recommend our glass polish Racoon SHINY GLASS and the special cleaner and degreaser Racoon ALCOHOLIC. These guarantee a clean and reactive glass surface!

The practical set contains everything you need for a perfect coating:

30ml Racoon GLASS COATING, 50 ml glass polish Racoon SHINY GLASS, 100 ml cleaner / degreaser Racoon ALCOHOLIC, 2 nitrile gloves, 3 viscose tissues for the applications and detailed instructions.

Keep out of the reach of children. Transport upright and store in a cool place!

IF ON SKIN (or hair): Rinse skin with water / shower. IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. IF IN CONTACT WITH EYES: Rinse gently with water for a few minutes. Remove contact lenses if possible. If eye irritation persists: Seek medical advice / attention. If you feel unwell, call a POISON CENTER / doctor!

Racoon GLASS SHIELD  Ceramic Coating

The application of the coating is really simple! However, care must be taken to carefully clean the surfaces to ensure optimum chemical bonding! The stability and abrasion resistance of the coating depends on how well it chemically bonds!

For your protection, we always recommend wearing disposable nitrile gloves!

Never apply a coating outdoors or in direct sunlight, but only in a well-ventilated garage! Do not use on heated or hot surfaces and do not apply at temperatures below +10°C! Keep out of the reach of children! Transport upright and store in a cool place!

Preparation:

Thoroughly clean the surfaces concerned first with a suitable glass cleaner. We recommend our high quality Racoon SEE THROUGH - Glass Cleaner! The wiper blades should also be cleaned at the same time to avoid later damage to the coating!

For optimum preparation, the surface should then be cleaned with our Racoon SHINY GLASS glass polish. This abrasive cleaning guarantees a clean and above all reactive glass surface! Shake the polish vigorously before use and apply sparingly to the glass surface with a damp cotton cloth or a suitable non-woven paper towel and rub thinly and evenly with pressure for several minutes in a circle or crosswise direction and polish. Then wipe off the film with a clean non-woven paper towel. Remove any remaining product with a non-woven paper towel moistened with Racoon ALCOHOLIC.

Application:

Racoon GLASS SHIELD may only be applied to a completely dry and dust-free glass surface! For application and polishing please use only suitable non-woven paper towels, never microfibre or cotton cloths. 

Start with one half of the windshield and apply as much GLASS SHIELD with a clean non-woven paper towel as necessary to create a regular film of liquid on the windshield. Then polish in the liquid for approx. 1 minute, but do not let it dry out under any circumstances! After a short contact time, polish the still moist film with a non-woven paper towel until there are no more residues or streaks. Then gently polish with a new, clean non-woven paper towel. 

If visible residues have dried, they can be softened and rubbed off again with a little GLASS SHIELD and a non-woven paper towel.

Depending on the outside temperature, the water-repellent effect is achieved after approx. 30 minutes. 

After 2-3 hours the coating is completely hardened.
